Hello! I’m Shaun, and I’ve been a photographer for 13 years. While I was in the Army, I voluntarily documented our training at Fort Drum with my old Sony Cybershot ‘point and shoot’ camera. I was asked to be the official photographer for our company for which I gladly accepted! Prior to our deployment, I purchased my first DSLR (Canon Rebel XTi) and continued to photograph our three month combat training in Fort Bragg and the following nine months we were in Afghanistan. I had some of my pictures published in a few online news articles back in New York. I also wrote a monthly column for our battalion talking about the humanitarian aid missions we assisted in and conducted multiple interviews with the soldiers from our unit.

Once I retuned home, I finished my associate degree in Communication and Media, and decided it was time to move to Los Angeles. I enrolled into the Los Angeles Film School to focus on a career in filmmaking. I worked on set as a camera operator and a camera assistant on various independent movies. I have worked on almost fifty wedding videos. I did a few background acting jobs too! I currently work as a photographer at Disneyland capturing very cool special events such as the grand opening for Pixar Pier and Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. I’ve photographed various presentations at Club 33 of Bret Iwan (Mickey Mouse), Bill Farmer (Goofy), and John Lasseter (former CCO of Pixar). I’ve also captured some marketing photography for multiple runDisney marathons which are posted to the official Disneyland and Pixar Instagram pages.

Some other things about me is that I love video games! One day I hope to be a VO and motion capture actor for a AAA video game studio. I love collecting all things Nintendo and have a ton of old games from my childhood in excellent condition. I also love collecting comics. Going to San Diego Comic-Con is the biggest event for me all year. It’s my favorite place to go and love photographing cosplayers, meeting celebrities, and buying way too many cool things!
